How to Prepare Delicious Cookies

The following recipe is taken from nutella cookie and is easy enough even novices should have little trouble making it. If you have never baked cookies before, this is a great way to get started.


1/2 cup chopped toasted & skinned hazelnuts
1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 large egg
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2/3 cup Nutella
1/3 cup light brown sugar
2/3 cup granulated sugar
7 tbsp unsalted butter (room temperature)
Pinch of salt
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
1 1/3 cup all-purpose flour


Preheat your oven at 350 F. Sift the salt, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, cocoa and flour. Put this aside. Cream the brown sugar, granulated sugar and butter. Keep mixing until they are fluffy and light.

Add the vanilla extract and Nutella. Beat in the egg. Add the flour next. Mix everything until they blend well. Toss in the hazelnuts and chocolate chips.

Prepare parchment lined baking sheets. Put tablespoonfuls of dough on the sheets. Space them a couple of inches apart. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes or until the edges set. Cool the cookies for five minutes on a baking sheet before putting them on racks.

A Simple Shortbread Recipe

To make these shortbread cookies  , you will need the following. 


1 teaspoon (4 grams) pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup (60 grams) powdered sugar or icing
1 cup (2 sticks) (226 grams) unsalted butter
1/4 teaspoon (2 grams) salt
2 cups (260 grams) all-purpose flour


Whisk the flour and salt. Put this aside and ready your mixer. Put the butter in the mixer and beat it for 60 seconds. Throw in the sugar and beat for a couple of minutes until smooth.

Add the vanilla extract. Stir the flour in. Flatten the dough and shape like a disc. Put this in a plastic wrapper. Let the dough chill for 60 minutes.

Now preheat the oven to 177 degrees C / 350 degrees F. Place the rack in the center of the oven. Prepare the baking sheets. Lightly flour the table. Shape the dough into a .6 cm (1/4 inch) thick circle. Use a cookie cutter into the shape you like. Put these on the baking sheets.

Easy Stir-Fry

For a stir-fry, all you need is a pound of broccoli rabe, minced garlic, and olive oil.

The first step is to boil some salted water. While that is boiling, prepare your broccoli rabe. Rinse it through a steady stream of water. Then, cut about an inch off the bottom. The tops and stems must be coarsely chopped.

When the water is boiling, add the chopped vegetable and leave it there for about three minutes. After that, transfer the broccoli rabe onto a bowl of ice cubes to stop the cooking process. This step will help keep your vegetable’s crunch and bright green color.

When it is cooled completely, wrap it around in paper towels to take off excess water. Put it in a resealable plastic bag and put it in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours.

Before sautéing, the broccoli rabe must be kept resting out of the fridge for at least an hour. Then, you can heat the pan, put in some olive oil and garlic, and add the broccoli rabe. Season it with some salt and pepper. Make sure that the vegetable will not stay on the pan for too long to maintain its crunch but is cooked through and was able to absorb the flavors on the pan.

Fettuccine and Broccoli Rabe

The first recipe is too easy and simple to make. So we decided to give you another recipe on how to cook broccoli rabe. This mouthwatering dish involves fettuccine, sea scallops, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper, garlic, and olive oil.

The first step is to cook the pasta according to package directions. When the pasta is almost done, about two minutes into the cooking process, add in coarsely chopped broccoli rabe. Drain the water off the broccoli rabe and fettuccine mixture, then, set it aside.
